Are you a frustrated MLM Professional?

Perhaps the sales of the product that you agreed to be a Downline Associate for do not live up to the glowing expectations that were described to you by your Upline Sponsor.

What a surprise!

Seriously, you really didn't think that the market was as big, or as "hot" as your Upline Sponsor claimed, did you?

But, this is your own fault. You failed to perform due diligence.

Before you invested your time and your money, you needed to determine:

  • What is the best selling MLM items?

  • What items are getting the most interest by consumers?

  • What items are getting the highest number of searches on the Internet?

  • How do I find prospects for these items?

  • What are the most popular selling items in our product line?

  • Where do I advertise to find new prospects and customers?

  • What words should I put in my auction title?

  • What are the best words or phrases to prompt people to buy?
  • ...and many more burning questions!

But, the time for that pre-enrollment due diligence is past.

If you checked on the market before you signed up, then you probably approached your MLM adventure as a business, and you are not in the situation that I am describing.

Now, how are you to decide whether to "cut your losses" and bail out, or whether to stick with the MLM program and learn how to prospect and sell?

One thing that you should have done is checked on eBay™ to see if their were any sales for the items you want to sell.

Looking at prices, numbers of sales, length of auctions, and the number of similar items in eBay™ stores gives you a clue.

If you see that the product that your Upline Recruiter says are selling without effort, i.e., practically selling themselves...but you see that the items don't move on eBay™ even at a price that is 1/3 to 1/2 the cost that you are supposed to sell them for, then you know that the Upline Recruiter is feeding you "hype" that is "bad for your bottom line."

Another thing to check for on eBay™ is just how low the items that you will be selling are being sold for on eBay™. Often, you will find that the products that you are investing in are "unloaded" on eBay™ at below your "wholesale" costs.

The reason that this can happen is that Upline Sponsors often receive bonuses in products, and they unload these products for any price because this represents pure profit. Upline Sponsors also may be required to purchase a minimum monthly supply of the product that they are unable to sell at the company's suggested "retail" price.

All of these issues are important, and easy to determine.

Just obtain a free eBay™ account, then "watch" the items in question.

eBay™ will report on the sale, telling you the final selling price.

This information will tell you whether the sound of success that you hear is a trumpet heralding your success, or the rosy hype of a pipe dream.

So, exercise patience and you can determine if there is any chance of success.

In addition, you might purchase a few of the products that your Upline Sponsor tells you are so easy to sell, and sell them yourself on eBay™.

If you can't get your retail price on eBay™ with 16 million customers, how are you going to get that price going from one prospect's door to another? If you can't figure out how to sell the product for a profit on eBay™, you don't have the skills needed to sell face to face in a restaurant, even if you "pick up the tab" (to show that you are prosperous and making money with the MLM opportunity that you are selling).

If you want to take a shortcut, and use software to conduct your research on eBay™, then consider...

Hot Item Finder

This inexpensive software, it costs only $47 USD, will tell you everything that you need to know about what is selling on eBay™, and the key words that you need to use to position the item correctly.

This software could save you hours, even days of reseach time, and the cost is a small price to pay to protect yourself from exagerated Upline Sponsor's claims.

The cost of this software is less than many MLM companies charge for the initial package of catalogs, brochures and sales literature.

If you can't sell on eBay™, your sales efforts stand a "snowball's chance" in the long run, since every MLM opportunity relies on repeat (or residual) sales.

Another strategy is to learn to sell enough of the product on eBay™ to cover your monthly associate fees and mandatory product purchases.

If your testing proves that you can unload your monthy allotment of products that you are required to buy at just about break-even, then you have a winner since you won't be out the high cost of the products if you slack off for a day and take a break from selling.

If you can't unload the products on eBay™ at close to your costs, then the product that you are buying is a "dog" and you should cut your losses.

Again, Hot Item Finder might just be the ticket to saving your financial "tail."
